Professional Security Consulting
Roe Security Consulting, LLC was founded by Matthew Roe, a law enforcement professional with more than 21 years of hands-on experience in security operations, emergency response, and risk management.
Throughout his career, Matthew has seen firsthand how preparation changes outcomes. Repeatedly, the difference between chaos and control came down to whether people had thought ahead, trained intentionally, and put simple safeguards in place before a crisis occurred.
This belief closely aligns with Proverbs 22:3
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
That principle has guided Matthew’s approach to public safety and has been reinforced through years of real-world experience. He has responded to critical incidents, managed volatile situations, and provided leadership during large-scale public demonstrations and high-tension crowd events, all of which required rapid coordination, disciplined decision-making, and clear command under pressure.
Matthew has experience in all aspects of the areas that modern faith based organizations, schools, and business face in fluid and dynamic environments. These experiences have consistently reinforced his belief that preparation, planning, and training are the key factors that prevent situations from escalating and reduce harm when incidents occur.
In addition to his law enforcement duties, Matthew has served in Director of Security–level roles, leading security programs for high-traffic and high-liability environments. His responsibilities have included personnel selection, training, scheduling, operational planning, and direct incident response. These roles required balancing enforcement, prevention, and de-escalation while maintaining lawful, professional operations.
Matthew brings extensive experience in school safety and threat response, as well as organizational and residential security. He has worked hands-on to address recurring problem behavior, reduce risk, and improve safety through consistent enforcement, documentation, and proactive intervention.
He also holds advanced CPTED training and evaluates facilities through the combined lens of security design, human behavior, and response dynamics. His assessments focus on practical improvements that reduce risk and improve outcomes, not theoretical models or fear-based recommendations.
Matthew’s background includes emergency medical and trauma response training, shaping an approach that accounts for what happens not only before and during an incident, but immediately after. This perspective ensures training and plans address prevention, response, and survivability.
